Why the free plan is capped by entrants, not by days
Most free trials are a countdown: you get 7 or 14 days, and the clock runs whether or not you are ready. A giveaway does not work like that — it is a campaign with a start and an end, often a few weeks long, and it usually takes a while to plan the prize and the rules.
So the free plan has no expiry date. You can set a giveaway up today, launch it next month, and run it to the end without paying. What decides when you upgrade is reach: once more than 50 people enter in the same month, that is the point where the app is doing enough work to be worth paying for.

Questions merchants ask
What happens when I reach 50 entrants in a month?
The giveaway keeps running and everything you have collected stays yours — new entries are turned away until you upgrade, and the allowance resets at the start of the next month. Nothing is deleted and no entrant is lost.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The free plan does not ask for one. Pro is billed through Shopify, on your regular Shopify invoice, with a 14-day free trial.
Can I go back to the free plan?
Yes, at any time from your Shopify admin. Billing is handled by Shopify, so cancelling is a one-click action that does not go through us.
